Beneficiary: “Constantin Filipescu” Technological High School Caracal

”Constantin Filipescu” Caracal Technological High School implements the KA229 Strategic Partnership entitled “Breathe free”. The project takes place between September 2020 and August 2022.

Partners in this project are schools from:
Spain 🇪🇸 , Turkey 🇹🇷 , Romania 🇷🇴 , Latvia 🇱🇻 , Greece 🇬🇷 .
The working language of the project is English.
The target group of this project is students between 12 and 14 years old.

In the week of October 4-7, 2020, the first meeting between students and teachers involved in the “Breathe free” project, a strategic partnership project between schools, took place in Torrent, Spain, in the community of Valencia. , carried out under the Erasmus + Program (KA229 – School Education).
This meeting was attended by our school Ionel Bădica – project manager, Ionel Gabriel Dinu, Principal – accompanying teachers and students: Radu Ana Maria, Radu Alina Elena, Păun Denisa Georgiana and Păun Alexandra Florentina.

On Monday, October 4, 2021, the students of the “Breathe free” project were received by the students of the host school followed by the Reception Ceremony at the school, the opening and welcoming speech of the Coordinator José Maria Almudever, followed by a good meeting came to the school with the school principal and teachers involved in the project, as well as with the partner teachers and students.Each partner school presented power point materials and short videos about the country, region, culture and school participating in the project. , we visited the classrooms, then we visited the Tower and the City Hall of Torrent (meeting with the municipal educational councilor).
On Tuesday, October 5, 2021, the host students and those of the partner schools shared with each other in a workshop, drawings, clothes and traditional songs. Through this activity, the participants acquired a vision of Europe in the context of collaborative learning.
During the coordinators’ meeting, we discussed the details of the next meeting in Romania, as well as the activities to be carried out within the project. There was also an activity related to the presentation of the Multilingual Dictionary, as well as the workshop entitled: “Guide for hosting a refugee student in your school”, followed by the presentation of the “Amigo” Foundation, resources for refugees. The educational-instructive problems of the refugee students and the facts that produce them were discussed. Students and teachers cooperated and found solutions to educational problems.
On Wednesday, October 6, 2021, the participating students and teachers visited the center of Valencia and the Serranos towers.
On Thursday, October 7, 2021, I visited the Oceanography, Aquarium and Dolphinarium in Valencia, followed by the Science Museum.
At the end of the day, I attended the Certificate Ceremony.
Analyzing the training and learning activity in our school, we can concretize:

– a very good interaction between partners, sharing ideas, pleasant working atmosphere;
– the objectives have been well defined and fully achieved;
-documentary visits were well organized, helping the partners to enrich their notions about Spanish culture;
– the workshops took place in optimal conditions, the partners contributing equally to the accomplishment of the tasks;
– it proved to be a good collaboration between local decision makers, parents, teachers, students;
-promotional materials were visible and made correctly;
-each participant received the certificate of participation in the meeting.
